Like a lot of families, the owners at our Helm St project were looking to modernise their existing preloved home as well add much needed space for their growing family

With no change to the original front façade when you enter through the front door there is an immediate element of surprise as you are met with a wide-open hallway beaming with natural light from the recessed skylight above

Once inside the you can’t help but be drawn down the hallway to the large open plan dining and kitchen area, with a raised ceiling standing an impressive 3.2m high, again filled with huge amounts of light from a large custom skylight.

Blackbutt engineered flooring leads all the way to the large sliding doors at the rear and then transitions straight into a matching blackbutt deck, effortlessly bring the outdoor and indoor spaces together

Simple and clean designs in both the bathroom and ensuite, complemented with custom curved mirrors and solid timber cabinets fronts with Matt Black tapware.

With the softness of the natural timber being carried throughout the house and the very clever use of wall and LED lighting there is a calmness that can be felt in every room.

Although the front of the house remained as timber weatherboard the new addition was clad with a more modern look in mind, using James hardi Stria boards running vertically, matching in with new matt black Alluminium windows.
